In this “Budget” version of our fall cleanup package, we provide the basics to help make your fall season more manageable. Your lawn is mowed twice and leaves are mulched back into the turf, previously maintained edges are trimmed, and your hard surfaces are blown off — just like a regular season service, but with a double mow to help minimize leaves!
Please be aware that this service does not include any other leaf or debris maintenance beyond the double mow (so beds, pool areas, terraces, ground cover areas, etc. are not included) and additional leaf removal or catching is not available. Mulching leaves does not eliminate leaves from the turf surface and they will remain visible. This service is best suited for customers who desire continued mowing throughout the fall but do not need or desire extensive leaf or debris cleanup.
Signup for this package requires remaining on our regular mow schedule through the end of the mowing season (10/13), is only available for signup until 10/13, cannot be customized in any way, and cannot be exited early. Per-round cancelation fees apply after 10/13.
Service Details and Terms
🍁 General Information: The Fall Cleanup Budget Package service is a series of three separate budget fall cleanups that are essentially continued regular maintenance with a double cut to help reduce leaf buildup on turf. This service was created with some of our regular mow customers in mind who have in the past requested continued regular maintenance only. By nature, the fall season requires a lot more resources than maintenance season. We add and change equipment, increase crew sizes, and route differently to best service our customers. For these reasons, we can’t continue our regular service routes or pricing, so this package allows us to bridge that gap.
The approximate timings of the three services are: second half of October (1st round), first half of November (2nd round), and second half of November (3rd round). Any unworkable days in those ranges due to weather or other circumstances may result in delays. Our full-service fall cleanup package is our main service offering for the season, and our budget version visits are routed along with our regular fall cleanup routes.
🍁 Eligibility and Pricing: To be eligible for this service, you need to be an active mow customer who continues mowing through the end of the season with no late season skips. The flat rate pricing is based on the amount of time it should take us to double cut an already maintained lawn. Canceling early or skipping at the end of the season renders your lawn “unmaintained” by our standards heading into the cleanup season. Similarly, we only offer signups for this service through the last day of mowing and don’t allow late signups once round 1 begins since the flat-rate pricing relies on being signed up in time for round 1. You CAN sign up for the full service package after the start of the season since the hourly rate pricing allows us the time we need to properly service your lawn if a round(s) is missed. Unlike our full-service cleanups, you will be charged the same flat rate no matter how long we are at your property for. If we do not use the full time we have budgeted, you will still be charged the rate quoted. If we go over, you will not be charged more.
🍁 Service Information: During each visit, your lawn is mowed twice and leaves are mulched back into the turf, previously maintained edges are trimmed, and your hard surfaces are blown off. This service does not include any leaf maintenance beyond the double mow (so beds, pool areas, terraces, ground cover areas, etc. are not included) and additional leaf removal or catching is not available. Branches, sticks, and other debris not able to be mulched may remain. Mulching leaves does not eliminate leaves from the turf surface and they will remain visible. The main focus of this service is continued mowing maintenance through the fall and keeping turf clear of excessive leaf buildup.
🍁 Scheduling: The approximate timings of the three services are outlined above. We run our routes as tightly and efficiently as possible to ensure that we can service the maximum amount of customers each day and keep our pricing in-line with industry standards, which means that we dispatch daily rather than ahead of time. We do not currently offer dispatch notifications, but this is something we’re working on for the future! We cannot arrange to be there when you are present, so we ask that you please keep your lawn free of obstacles and ready for service for the entire cleanup season. Please notify us ahead of time of any conflicts with other outdoor work. We want to do whatever we can to work with you and make your fall season as smooth and worry-free as possible, so please communicate with us in advance for any special circumstances! We greatly appreciate it.
🍁 Payment: Cards are automatically charged the Monday following the completion of each service. You will receive a copy of your paid invoice and a receipt from the credit card processing company.
🍁 Auto Renew: This service automatically renews each year. Renewal reminders will be sent out via email ahead of each cleanup season. Auto-renewal is contingent on an active regular maintenance service remaining on your account and no skips in the final weeks ahead of cleanup season. Price is subject to annual percentage increase and time auditing.
🍁 Cancelation: To cancel this service, please send written notice to email@example.com. Request to cancel via any other communication method will be directed to email and cancelation will not be confirmed until receipt of written notice.
This service is a 3-visit package. Once you sign up, we reserve a place on our list for you, potentially turning down other work to ensure we can complete your cleanups. Seasonal scheduling, daily scheduling, staffing, and equipment investments are highly reliant on all 3 visits going ahead as scheduled. For these reasons, cancelation fees apply beginning at close of business the Friday before cleanups start. After that time, there is a cancelation fee of $50 per non-completed visit to cancel this service. $150 to cancel all three, $100 to cancel rounds 2 and 3 after the first visit has been completed, and $50 to cancel the final visit after rounds 1 and 2 have been completed. If service was not canceled ahead of time in writing per the above cancelation terms and we are sent away upon arrival at your house, you will be charged a minimum of $69 for that round (1 man hour) OR for the time of any work completed based on crew clock-in, whichever is more, plus the $50 fee for any upcoming rounds canceled. No, the budget option is not able to be customized. If you’re concerned about budget AND have specific needs beyond what our budget option includes, we recommend choosing the full service version and capping your cleanup with specific instructions through our Cap My Cleanup form.
#️⃣ I want continuing maintenance, but only for one or two of the rounds. I don’t need it through the end of the season. Why can’t I only get one or two?
We understand that every lawn has unique needs. Ultimately, we have to create our service offerings around what works best for the most amount of people, while also balancing staffing and scheduling during a busy and challenging season. We designed this package to slide in as easily as possible alongside our full-service package, which also includes and requires three visits. We would not be able to offer this budget-friendly flat rate option without it being able to be seamlessly scheduled on the same routes as the full-service fall cleanup visits. Once you sign up, we reserve a place on our list for you, potentially turning down other work to ensure we can complete your cleanups. Seasonal scheduling, daily scheduling, staffing, and equipment investments are highly reliant on all 3 visits going ahead as scheduled.
🗓️ Why can’t I sign up for the budget package after 10/13?
With our hourly rate fall cleanup service, it doesn’t matter as much if a lawn hasn’t been maintained or if the first round is missed because the nature of hourly rate means we charge for the amount of time it takes, no matter how long or short. This flat-rate budget version that we have come up with relies on continuing the regular season maintenance with no gaps in service. If the first round is missed, the flat-rate provided will no longer be enough to perform a reasonable service on your property. Since Round 1 begins on Monday 10/16, all signups need to be processed by Friday 10/13 to guarantee you’re able to be scheduled on time.
🍂 This service is roughly bi-weekly and I am already on the bi-weekly schedule. Why can’t you just continue me on my regular schedule at my regular price?
By nature, the fall season requires a lot more resources than maintenance season. We add and change equipment, increase crew sizes, and route differently to best service our customers. Our weekly and bi-weekly scheduled routes end in favor of maximizing efficiency by dispatching day-to-day. Even a small amount of leaf and debris cover slows down mow times, which means our crews likely need a bit more time to service your lawn. This service also includes a double cut to help minimize leaves and clippings, which is different than the regular season but helps make this service a bit more of a “cleanup” than a regular mowing service. For these reasons, we can’t continue our regular service routes or pricing. This is the most basic, budget-friendly service that we are able to offer in the busy and complicated fall season!
